Network Project Manager

Position Overview

We are modernizing our core telecommunications networks to enable new, groundbreaking products and technologies. As a Network Project Manager, you will be responsible for Center Engineering and Vendor Management across multiple network build initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee complex network infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple simultaneous network build projects through their complete lifecycle
• Engineer and document technical solutions using systems including Telecommunication Capacity Creation Process (CCP), Capital Management system, SAP, and CoFEE
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules in partnership with stakeholders
• Drive vendor and outsource teams to meet construction timelines
• Manage engineering aspects including:
  • Project-specific installation instructions
  • Engineering database updates
  • Equipment configurations
  • Card/port assignments
  • Power mapping
  • Cable running lists
  • Floor space and rack placement
  • Detailed Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Create and manage Shopping carts and Telephone Equipment Orders (TEOs)
• Oversee project budgets through Project Supplements
• Coordinate site surveys with Operations teams
• Facilitate relationships with service vendors, including pricing compliance and quality reviews

• 5+ years of experience driving cross-functional projects and vendor management
• Engineering background with telecommunications technology expertise
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project
• Proficiency with SRM/SAP and capital/expense budget management
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks and business processes
• Experience managing complex technical projects to successful completion
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• PMP Certification
• Military experience
• Experience with Clarity Software Application suite
