We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at the Plainview, Texas facility!

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all farm, plant, and fleet vehicles
  • Identify and establish a positive working relationship with vendors
  • Maintain inventory system for parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies
  • Oversee the daily preventative maintenance of all equipment by training all operators on key maintenance programs
  • Repair equipment as needed either in-house or outsourced as needed
  • Design and implement an electronic process for maintenance schedule and recordkeeping
  • Supervise others in the performance of maintenance tasks
  • Implement and practice safety programs and policies as needed for all equipment, maintenance activities and by Corteva and OSHA safety practices.
  • Coordinating or performing repairs on Plant Processing equipment
  • Plan and coordinate workload with external and internal stakeholders and customers
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process lines to ensure business continuity
  • Supervise, evaluate, and mentor reports, ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with specified research protocols and regulations
  • Promote positive work attitudes and harmonious relations
  • Design and implement process improvements
  • Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility
  • Coordinate electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures in everyday work routine


Education:
  • You have your High School Diploma or equivalent


What Skills You Need:
  • You are a guru at understanding and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, welding, and light fabrication work
  • Five (5) years' experience in troubleshooting equipment and preventative maintenance
  • You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting
  • When there is a problem, you see an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot so you can find and implement solutions
  • You are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required
  • You have high diligence can multitask, maintain an organized workplace and excellent critical thinking skills
  • You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • You enjoy working as part of a larger, culturally diverse group, as well as independently when needed
  • You are willing and able to travel up to 25%, which includes traveling to other locations and overnight stays
  • You have a valid US Driver's License
  • You understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand


What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Two Year Technical or Associates Degree in Mechanics, Operations, Safety, or related field
  • Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work
  • Advanced knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture and agriculture equipment (plows, tractor, forklift, etc.)

Site Dedicated (100% at Corteva location):
  • This role will be on-site at a Corteva location
