THIS POSITION IS HIRED IN THE GOLF DIVISION OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist Restaurant/Assistant Restaurant Manager/Chef in cooking and preparation of food.
Supervise kitchen personnel under the direction of the Restaurant Manager/Chef.
Ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality, consistency and time lines.
Receive and fulfill food orders using a restaurant point-of-sale system.
Answer questions about cooking methods, menu items and specials
Purchase various food products as directed by Restaurant Manager/Chef, order and receive deliveries, and restock supplies as necessary
Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area.
Maintain cleanliness of back-of-the-house area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Permit.
