Director, Clinical Programs (Clinical Improvement, Access Team) - REMOTE

This Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining our comprehensive access management program across DaVita Kidney Care (DKC). This includes permanent access placement, CVC removal, ongoing maintenance of permanent access, and supporting access transitions.

Key areas of focus:

  • Implementing new training, clinical pathways, and protocols
  • Leading pay-for-performance contract initiatives
  • Identifying future opportunities aligned with the multi-year vision and roadmap

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising teams
  • Collaborating with OCMO leadership, CE teams, and field staff to refine the access management roadmap
  • Leading pilots and nationwide initiative rollouts
  • Developing innovative solutions based on clinical vision and building business cases for initiatives to meet goals
  • Applying strong problem-solving skills to complex issues, developing detailed plans, and coordinating execution
  • Setting key goals and metrics, driving results, communicating outcomes, and assessing scalability
  • Partnering with Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) and Home teams to ensure alignment across workflows, electronic medical records, and reporting
  • Organizing and delivering executive, management, and frontline performance reports and communications
  • Identifying new opportunities with vendors for clinical and risk adjustment initiatives and managing vendor contracts as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
  • Experience leading a team
  • At least 5 years of healthcare experience in areas such as:
    • Dialysis (preferred)
    • Analytics and data analysis
    • Problem-solving, strategy development, and alignment
    • Highly organized with attention to detail
    • Experience in highly matrixed organizations
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skillsverbal, written, and presentation
