Responsibilities
- Develop strategic account/market plans to drive sales and growth at each assigned major account.
- Build key relationships to improve partnerships with the client and increase project hit rates.
- Grow service revenue through the profitable sale of all ERS acceptance testing services to targeted major accounts.
- Form working relationships with Company Service Center Managers, Sales Engineers, Major Account Customer Success Managers, and other Vertiv Service Entities to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas while supporting managements strategic objectives.
- Develop and present proposals while maintaining account proposal activity in ERS quote management system.
- Maintain sales records and update activity to provide accurate forecasting reports.
- Achieve progressively increasing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Cold?call prospects, strictly follow up on proposals to close contracts efficiently.
- Communicate with field and corporate associates regarding contract issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Other duties may be assigned as applicable.

Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or Electrical Engineering; extensive industry experience considered.
- 7 to 10 years of business?to?business sales experience in a technical field (service sales preferred); 2 to 3 years in major account relationship management with large national, multisite clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to read electrical one?line drawings.
- Experience with Data Center construction, project management strategies, and execution.
- Experience selling services preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem?solving abilities and capacity to resolve contract and service issues.
- High degree of communication, organizational, and management skills.
- Experience delivering presentations to management?level personnel.
- Strong theoretical background and management skills required.
- Effective written and verbal communication with clients, peers, and management.
- Understanding of Fortune 500 purchasing and decision?making processes.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with all levels.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid drivers license.
- 50% travel required.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role in the California locality is $156,310 to $195,443 per year (plus sales incentive plan). Salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. This role is eligible for additional rewards such as merit increases, annual bonus, stock, and sales incentives based on revenue or utilization. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, Flexible Unlimited PTO, holiday pay (e.g., 9 days in Washington), and 401(k). Additional compensation details will be provided during the hiring process.
