Cyber Security Engineer Staff (Embedded) | Lockheed Martin

You will be a Cyber Security Engineer, Embedded in the Program Protection Organization. Our organization oversees all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control. We are chartered with providing the skills and innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain secure products across our Lines of Business.

What You Will Be Doing As the Cyber Security Engineer You will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing anti-tamper and embedded cybersecurity solutions across Missiles and Fire Control's deliverable products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems
  • Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
  • Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded Weapon Systems
  • Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
  • Designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state of the art System Security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products
  • Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks against Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Weapon System products
  • Integrate yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate System Security Engineering into a wide range of high integrity, security and safety-critical Systems

* For a level 4, we typically look for 9 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 7 years of experience with a related Master's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
