MasTec - - Responsibilities: Provide advice and counseling about regulatory compliance with safety, health and environmental laws, codes, regulations, standards, and the related Company requirements.; Inspect workplace facilities, including tools, equipment, and machinery, to identify and correct deficiencies or potential hazards, and to ensure compliance to OSHA / DOT / MasTec USG safety and regulatory requirements.; Assist local management in the investigation of safety-related damage incidents, employee injuries or occupational illnesses, and motor vehicle accidents to determine cause and contributing factors.; Conduct or facilitate safety training and education programs to supervisory and field employees through formal training classes, safety meetings, or other venues.; Recommend safe work processes and demonstrate personal protective equipment safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to workplace and environmental hazards.
