Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance/Welder Helper for a warehouse facility in Plainview, TX.

This is a great opportunity for someone with maintenance, welding, or industrial experience who is looking for steady work and plenty of overtime.
Job Duties:

• Safely maintain and repair warehouse and production equipment with assistance from maintenance personnel as needed
• Perform welding and cutting operations on pipe and structural equipment
• Assist with repairs on pumps, gearboxes, transmissions, and other mechanical equipment
• Use cutting torches to cut steel and prepare materials
• Weld critical equipment and structural components
• Use hand and power tools to remove and install fasteners and parts
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repair work
• Carry tools, parts, and equipment to and from work areas
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and work environment
• Assist with general facility housekeeping, including sweeping and cleaning work areas

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance, welding, or industrial experience preferred
• Experience with electrical work is a plus
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting torches
• Basic knowledge of equipment repair and preventative maintenance
• Ability to lift, carry, and move tools and materials throughout the facility
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
